Welcome to Recap!

By accessing or using Recap, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.​

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Recap. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to create an account or use the App in any way.​

3. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. User Accounts
Registration: You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your Recap account at any time. Deleting your account will remove your user profile and personal account information, but some content you have posted (such as Group photos or videos) may remain on the App. To delete your account, go to Settings → Delete Account. You may be asked to confirm your choice before deletion is completed.

Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:

  • Post or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harmful, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate other users.

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law.

  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.

  • Use the App for any unauthorized, fraudulent, or illegal activity.

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Recap has a zero tolerance policy for abusive behavior and objectionable content. Content that promotes violence, hate speech, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated. Users who violate these standards may be reported, suspended, or permanently removed from the App.

Reporting and Blocking Posts

All users have the ability to report posts that engage in abusive behavior or objectionable content. Users can also block other users to prevent further interactions. Reported posts will be removed and hidden from the user. Recap will review reported content and take appropriate action, including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts for repeated violations.​

6. Content​

Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you post.
License: By posting content, you grant Recap Video Sharing LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, publicly display, distribute, and otherwise make your content available in connection with the App and its services.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any content you share. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any user-generated content.​

7. Privacy​

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.​

8. Intellectual Property​

Our Rights: We own all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all related intellectual property.
Your Rights: You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without prior written permission.

​9. Disclaimers​

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.​

10. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recap Video Sharing LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the App.​

11. Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.​

12. Dispute Resolution​

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.​
